A design office
of one person
I design, build and manufacture modular headphones, compact laptops and other gadgets. Every device goes from an idea to a finished product.
About me
A self-taught engineer
Someone who is not afraid of hard projects. Making my own devices is not just a dream — it is what I have wanted to do for as long as I can remember. I design the electronics, write the firmware, model the enclosures, and every day I work on turning ideas into finished devices.
The philosophy is simple: usefulness, modularity, repairability. Every gadget should be useful, take apart and be possible to fix.
Principles
Three pillars of the work
Usefulness
Every device has to solve a real problem. No useless features — only what is actually needed.
Modularity
Any part can be replaced. A part broke — replace that part, not the whole device.
Repairability
Every gadget can be taken apart and fixed. Available components, a clear design, open documentation.
Gadgets
And what gadgets are these?
QymBuds
QymBuds — modular headphones with replaceable drivers, ear pads and cable. Build the headphones that suit you.

QymDeck
QymDeck — a modular netbook on SOM modules. Compact, repairable, with an upgradeable computing core.

QymCAD
QymCAD is a desktop CAD for mechanical parts and assemblies. Sketch → part → assembly, exact geometry on the OpenCASCADE kernel, STEP exchange. No cloud, no subscription.

Support the project
The work is funded out of my own pocket. If you would like to help, I will be grateful.
